At a domestic textile and clothing industry symposium yesterday, Shi Zhengzhi, secretary general of the Municipal Textile and Apparel Chamber of Commerce, said that in recent years, Quanzhou textile and garment industry has established itself in the domestic market and is striving to build a complete terminal network. It has built a professional market for Shishi Dianchi Cloth Market, one of the country's five major textile fabric markets, and Shishi Garment City, Asia's largest professional clothing market, and established well-known exhibitions such as the Cross-Strait Textile and Apparel Expo, and established nearly 10,000 cities across the country. The sales outlets in the country promote modern sales methods such as agency, chain, unified distribution and online trading. "These practices based on the domestic market have made the impact of the economic crisis on Quanzhou textile and garment enterprises less obvious."

It is understood that at present, the market share of knitted fabrics, woven fabrics and interwoven fabrics in the city ranks in the forefront of the country. The comprehensive market share of Jiu Muwang trousers has repeatedly ranked first in the national industry, while Yuxing zipper and seven wolf jackets are domestic. The market share reached 60% and 15% respectively.
